Our quality assurance always starts with control and DRC of the production files in our CAM, to assure that it is possible to manufacture within customer requirements and IPC. Our experienced CAM and technical support as well as sales contacts will also give feedback and suggestions for improvements in an early stage. Changes and improvements are documented for transfer to manufacturers in China.
Our factory in Sweden and our suppliers in China have their own laboratories for chemical analyse, measurements and sample tests by microsectioning. These controls are vital for process control and development of new product solutions and MMAB can identify potential quality problems and design issues. Our own production in Sweden provides our customers with local knowledge and handling of special cases.
Printed Circuit board material and processes are UL-approved, which assure correct manufacturing and material according to the approval. Our factory in Sweden and all our manufacturing partners in China are UL-approved and fulfill UL94-V0
The UL-approval for our Swedish factory has recently been updated to match future technical requirements, such as Ulus and ULc (Canada)75 µm track and 50 µm innerlayer. UL-approval for Printed Circuit Boards are specific for a production units. Updating and maintenance of the UL-approval means extensive tests and annual factory visits to check process parameters and material.
IPC is the foundation for specification and assessment of Printed Circuit Boards. The IPC requirements are supplemented by our own specific MMAB Requirements. Our own requirements monitor anything from surface coatings to packaging requirements. The MMAB requirements are implemented in the production environments and followed up by regular visits and documented action plans. MMAB will use IPC Class 2 as default and can offer IPC Class 3 when required. We have the necessary IPC knowledge and conduct internal training as well as customer training. The manufacturers in China are supervised by our active visits in the factories. Our MMAB team in China follow our own Quality documents and the manufacturers implements our instructions and specifications according to MMAB requirements. Beside an extensive supplier evaluation process, we also conduct continuous supplier valuation with actions and follow up. All our manufacturers in China are UL-approved and certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. Some of our suppliers are also certified according to IATF 16949.
